Los Amigo's Bar & Grill had a large chalk board with inserts for their wide selection of tequila offerings. I approached them to do custom chalk art to showcase the tequilla master class they offered, and include a mini menu and tequilla logo's. After this project I returned for a festive Day of the Dead board.
My first painted mural is a large (just over 16'). They asked for a scene depicting the tequilla harvestng process. We agreed on a Mexican farmer harvesting Agava with mountains in the background.
My final mural for Los Amigo's is a large wall by the bathrooms. We wanted to have fun men/women's signage and incorporating traditional Mexican imagery. This was supposed to be a small mural but I don't think I can do small. This was a really fun and fast project.
This wall sits at the north end of a rather large lobby. What was previous a boring wall is now a fun focus that features the many critters seen by the veterinarians at AMC. More wall projects to come here...
This little corner was once a boring white wall. Now it is vibrant sunset colors. They have a lunch counter with a faux roof that they wanted to appear like a a little village off extends off in the distance. On the left is an ocean and the a sky that goes about 14' high, testing my ladder/painting skills.
This is a little girl's room. The request was large flowers towering on each side of the bed. We agreed on poppies with gold accents. I used acrylic paint markers for the outline.
Muskegon Heights, 3rd Street community revitalization project. This was to bring some brightness and color to a neighborhood that had seen recent violence. I used a stencil and spray paint for this project.
